"Dirty Dancing" painted by Ian Guy
The painting's webpage is there. The painter is Ian Guy, who describes himself as follows:

Painter Ian Guy
.... As a full-time professional artist, Ian specialises in cars, and bikes, of every imaginable type. He paints from a depth of knowledge and passion, and each work is inspired and informed by countless hours of personal observation and research.

Ian has become widely known for his technical accuracy, intricate detail, dramatic lighting, and the little ‘extras’ found in most of his compositions.

Born and raised in Gloucestershire Ian moved south soon after his education, his idea being to sell his art to tourists, something he’d been drawn to in his early teens whilst on holiday in Cornwall. For many years he had his own public Gallery in Saint Ives Cornwall, a town known the world over for its Artist Colony.

His love of all things automotive often featured in his paintings which led him to try selling his work at car shows, historic racing festivals and the like. This was instantly successful and took him all around the country. He soon realised being based so far south was becoming a hindrance and so decided to sell-up and move back ‘home’ where he’d be based more centrally for his expanding new venture. ....

The website Australian Musclecar Sales includes a webpage about the sale of the movie's Chevy. The webpage includes many photographs, including the one below:

The webpage does not tell the sale price.

The Mirror website includes an article about a Dirty Dancing festival that includes the following passage and photograph.
.... The watermelon carrying contest was first - what a treat. The watermelons, which always makes me think of Baby's geekiest moment in the movie - remember that "I carried a watermelon" line? - were massive, heavy and hard to hold.

That's why, as I was appalled Ito hear from an insider who was there during filming, Jennifer Grey had her watermelon hollowed out. Scandalous I know but I got that on good authority from the guy who owns the hotel where she and hunky Patrick stayed during filming.

She kept dropping it, apparently, and as cute as it was it got a bit annoying and they hollowed it out. ...

Below are a couple of videos featuring the 1957 Chevy model.

In a 1991 movie, Point Break, Patrick Swayze appears in a cameo role and mentions the 1957 Chevy.

Below is a video of Jerry Orbach (Jake Houseman) advertising Chevrolet's newer cars.

Below is a television commercial -- apparently targeting the lesbian audience -- for the Chevrolet Spark.
