A Cinderella role seemed like a smart kind of a role for her to play in 1990 to advance her career after Dirty Dancing. Unfortunately for her, however, the movie did not help her career.
The movie was released in Italy in October 1990 and then was not released in the USA until June 1991. It seems to me that the movie played only perhaps one day in one theater. It never really played in movie theaters.
Because the movie never will earn any significant money, you can watch it for free on YouTube. I myself have not watched it.
Maybe I will watch it some day in the future.

The IMDb webpage about the movie summarizes the plot:
A modern Cinderella in Paris: While the plain Kelly Carter jobs as a gadrobiere for the famous fashion designer Francesco, she dreams of designing shoes for him. However she can't win his attention... until she meets a good fairy on the street, who enchants a pair of Kelly's shoes, so that she turns into supermodel Prudence whenever she wears them. She attends one of Francesco's balls and immediately wins his heart. Now, how can she make him love her real self?=====
The Rotten Tomatoes webpage describes the wrong movie. Nobody ever has noticed the mistake.
The Amazon webpage about the movie reports, however, that the 43% of customers awarded the movie a five-star rating and 19% awarded it a four-star rating. On the other hand, 21% gave it the lowest, one-star rating.

YouTube has a Cinderella Channel that has a lot of trailers and five-minute clips of Cinderella movies.
Why the movie did not hit in the cinemas?
