The 1988-1989 TV Series Dubbed Into Russian

This post follows up my previous posts The Dirty Dancing Television Series in 1988-1989 and A Look Back at the 1988 Television Series.

During 1988 and 1989, CBS broadcast a Dirty Dancing television series.

The Daily Motion website provides Episodes 1 and 2.and Episode 4 and Episode 5. I did not find any others, and I cannot embed those videos here. I enjoyed watching them.

The show was broadcast in Germany, and someone has uploaded onto YouTube the German-dubbed Episode 4 and Episode 10 and Episode 11. If you turn on the YouTube closed captions, they are in German.

The Wikipedia article says that there were 11 episodes, but the Russian uploader counts 12. I cannot explain the discrepancy.

The Russian dubbing speaks over the English, but you should be able to understand much of the English if you concentrate. If you turn on the YouTube closed captions, they are in Russian.

After you have watched Episodes 1, 2, 4 and 5 on Daily Motion, you can continue watching the series Episodes 6 and 7 through the Russian dubbing.

Then you can continue watching the remaining Russian-dubbed episodes of the series.
