In a previous script there was a scene -- now omitted -- right after the discussion of the abortion and right before Baby's running to fetch her father.

Johnny goes to Robbie's cabin, pulls him outside, and beats him up. Patrick Swayze added this scene to the script. Later the scene where Johnny beats up Robbie was moved forward in the story.
