"Dirty Dancing" Style Has Never Felt More Relevant

Earlier this year, Elana Fishman, the Entertainment Editor of the Racked website wrote an article titled Dirty Dancing Style Has Never Felt More Relevant. There she wrote:
Looking back at the coming-of-age classic, it’s almost unsettling how prescient the film was in the fashion department. It may have been set in 1963, but Baby’s bodysuits, high-waisted jorts, twirly midi skirts, and crop tops feel unmistakably current — and are exactly what I want to wear throughout the entirety of summer 2017.

Need a refresher on Dirty Dancing style? Below, see (and shop) some of my personal favorite looks from the film. Because even if you aren’t having the time of your life, you might as well dress like you are.
Fishman illustrated her article with comparisons between the movie's clothing in 1963 and the clothing that she wanted to wear during the summer of 2017.
